Guilty Feminist at Ventnor Fringe

Join The Guilty Feminist and their bold new initiative, The Road to Gilead Project, for a live show that blends humour with radical hope.

Since 2016, The Guilty Feminist podcast has racked up over 180 million downloads by examining the noble goals of 21st century feminism and the hypocrisies and insecurities that undermine them. It’s the show that proves you don’t have to be perfect to be a force for meaningful change. The Road to Gilead Project aims to ignite connection and action that will bring about hope and resistance against the far right.

Gilead is a pop culture shorthand from Margaret Atwood’s dystopian Handmaid’s Tale vision that we now see rising in the west. We welcome the questioning and the committed alike to come together in honest conversation about how we might form real coalitions for change and how we resist the slide towards oppression and power abuse with courage, creativity and collective joy. Expect big laughs, bold ideas and a room full of people who believe a better world is possible, even if we sometimes feel like we’re winging it. Come join host Deborah Frances-White and her fellow comedians, activists and guests to be part of this joyful, defiant movement.

Where: Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire
When: Sunday 2 August around 3pm

The Guilty Feminist x The Circle NGO

How is the far-right weaponizing violence against women for its own gains and why is this so dangerous? Why is global feminism key to ensuring no woman gets left behind in the push for progress? And what role can male allies play?

Join The Guilty Feminist host Deborah Frances-White for a special live podcast exploring what it takes to turn global feminist ideals into meaningful action.

Taking place as part of SISTERS: curated by Annie Lennox, a unique takeover of Wilderness in support of The Circle – Deborah is joined by the CEO of The Circle Raakhi Shah and Sikh Women’s Aid Chair, Sukhvinder Kaur. Together they will discuss what’s at stake and celebrate the organisations creating lasting change for women around the world.

Where: Gilded Balloon at the Museum
When: 20-23 August 2026, 7:30pm

Guilty Feminist at the Edinburgh Fringe

Join comedian Deborah Frances-White and guests for stand-up and conversation in a special episode of The Guilty Feminist, part of our Road to Gilead Project. The Handmaid’s Tale flashbacks look like scenes in the USA today. The far right across the world is organised, connected and well funded, and has been gaining ground in the UK, looking to strip back our rights. We can make a U-turn on this road, but we need to start now! Join the joyful resistance today. Recent guests include Annie Lennox, Gillian Anderson, Desiree Burch, Sindhu Vee, Hannah Spencer and Zack Polanski.
