Guilty Feminist Tour 2019

Published: Sun, 04 Nov 2018 20:00:00 +0000

The Guilty Feminist podcast has become a comedy phenomenon with over 50 million downloads since it launched in 2016. Comedian Deborah Frances-White and her guests discuss things which all twenty-first century feminists agree on - while confessing the insecurities, hypocrisies and fears which undermine those noble goals.

For this special touring version of the show, The Guilty Feminist: Live, Deborah will be joined by some of your favourite comedians, guests and musicians from the podcast for a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a conversation about what remains to be done.

The Guilty Feminist: Live will tour theatres throughout the UK for 23 dates between May and June 2019. Tickets for The Guilty Feminist: Live go on sale from Friday 2nd November 2019 from www.guiltyfeminist.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Everyday family life is full of wonderful moments we all take for granted. But many refugee families are being forced apart. After fleeing conflict and persecution, unfair and restrictive rules are forcing people to make an impossible decision: family or safety? The stroke of a pen could reunite these families. Tell the new Home Secretary, Sajid Javid to change these rules - sign our petition.

Henry V Speech

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our Female dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a girl
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood...
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry “God for WOMEN, FEMINISM, and SAINT ANGELOU!”

New panel show hosted by Deborah Frances-White

Published: Sat, 12 Mar 2016 13:38:39 +0000

Hey Guilty Feminists, THIS SUNDAY 13TH MARCH at 4.30pm in Camden, I am doing a rough pilot of my new podcast GLOBAL PILLAGE. It is FREE.

It's an idea I've had for a while but next week's Guilty Feminist show on the representation of women in the media is kicking me into gear to actually do it. I figured instead of just complaining about the under-representation of women (which I intend to enjoy doing as well) I will make an alternative.

The show will be a panel show with quiz questions. The theme is diversity: customs, sayings and norms around the world and through time. It will cover gender and sexual orientation.

The panel will be diverse and inclusive.

Please come and see how it goes. If it works, we might do it as a regular podcast or radio show.

If you are in, and can bring friends, please say so below so I have an idea of numbers. Would love you to come and see the birth of Global Pillage.

The show is here - http://camdencomedyclub.com/
